The retro Diana Mini is a plastic camera known for its dreamy deep saturation. It shoots square format and also half-frame, multiple exposures, overlapping exposures, and color flash. The modern 8-lens Oktomat, also plastic, shoots 8 sequential images on the same frame over the course of several seconds; the result is a bit like a filmstrip. The vintage 4-lens Nimslo from the 1980s lets you view 3D without special glasses. The 4 lenses are set at slightly different angles, as are the resulting photos; you view the 3D effect by refocusing your eyes. I took these cameras to some Radiohead shows, in New York in September 2011, and in Texas in March 2012.
The book is self-published, and as such is not cheap to make. It is a high-quality coffee table type book, 8.5 by 11.5 inches, and full-color, with many photos being a full page. There are 35 photos in the book. It includes a credits page. Please view the video below, if you haven't already, to see what the book looks like. I took the photos, but a lot of the credit for its beauty belongs to Andi Watson, Radiohead's lighting designer for years and years. I gave him a copy of the book. He loved the photos!
The book costs $40 including shipping within the USA. For international orders, the cost is $50 including shipping. Please select the correct shipping!
